2024 Spring Work Day
2024 Archers of Caledon Spring Work Day is scheduled for April 28, starting at 9 am.
This is a great opportunity to complete your workshare hours and help keep the club in tip-top shape.
If you have any of the following, please bring
- charged drills/drivers
- adjustable wrenches
- small tool kits
Some of the proposed work to be completed will include
- Evaluate each indoor target re condition and replace with new and re-packed compression frames. Re-install face foams
- Place 4 working target butts on the Short distance practice range.
- Assemble one 10×20 tent and one 10×10 tent on the tournament field behind the waiting line.
- Remove target butts from storage shed and set up 4@30m, 5@70m, 3@50m.
- Mark the practice range shooting line with paint.
- Make cork target pins.
- Cut some of the dead tree branches behind the practice area
The Archers of Caledon is owned and operated by its members. All members are required to contribute a minimum of 16 hours of work per year to the running and maintenance of the club. Members wanting to use the facility who do not participate in the workshare program will be charged an additional workshare fee up to a maximum of $160.00 + HST over and above the membership fees. This additional fee must be paid before membership renewal will be considered.
